Trailwalker Challenge
For those of you that I have had the pleasure of meeting, you will no doubt be aware that I am part of a team of ladies that will be walking 100K non-stop during the summer to raise money for the Ghurka Trust and Oxfam. Here is a link to the video showing a bit more about the challenge
100K is about 63 miles give or take and for the last 6 months I have been training hard, there have been some tough walks, the hardest so far was our training weekend where we walked about 70% of the route over two days. We are lucky in that we have a fabulous support crew to help us along the way.
We are aiming to raise £6,000 and have held a number of different events over the last few months. We held a quiz night, night at the dogs, Jamie at Home party, Phoenix Cards party with more events to follow.
If you haven’t been able to make any of these then you can still help out by sponsoring us via the link below:
All the hard training, blisters, sore muscles and lack of toenails (oh yes, one of the side effects) will be worth it if you can help us raise more money.
